If I had to express how good this Place was in one word it would be, "WOW."
Service was great, was greeted with a smile, very clean and most importantly the food was awesome.
Thank you for a great time. -

I generally do not write reviews, I write this as we were so disappointed with the our experience.
We stayed in a hotel near Emmet's and stopped in for dinner. We had Steak Tip Dinner and a Rueben sandwich. The food was fair at best. The Rueben, we left half of it, was a complete disappointment and didn't have sauerkraut. We discovered this when we pulled the 2nd half of the sandwich open. The steak tips were bland and tasteless only enhanced by the missing peppercorn sauce which turned out to be gravy. Overall our meals were a complete disappointment.
We wondered why we were able to find a seat in an irish pub in Boston during a busy time in the city......now we know why. This review would be a one except that the wait staff was excellent. Pleasant, attentive and helpful. Thank you to them.
Great waitstaff ......terrible meals -

Came here with my son (27) to enjoy some Irish fare while a hockey team played a game on television. As we arrived my eye was immediately drawn to a CRT television in the corner of the room with "LD" fixed in the top left corner of the screen. I wondered who else had passed this screen without knowing the history of LaserDisc. My son, ever the fan of media formats from the past encouraged me to give an impromptu presentation on the format to himself and our friend Mickey Disco who is unstable.
After a history of disc based media in general, I began to regale them with tales of the high quality and enhanced Laserdisc players I had picked up on my many trips to Asia.
My son raised a solid point about PAL LD media and I reminded him that I had purchased a PAL player/recorder for the elusive recordable Laserdisc format and how as a child he had converted some home movies to Laserdisc via our NeXTStation.
As he began to think of his mother, Mickey Disco began to howl at the hockey game which had been playing the entire time. Leaving him to his strained worries, my son and I made our excuses and left to begin the first of this year's Chicago Fire rewatch sessions.
We must return and try some of the food on offer.

The pub was great. I sat at the bar. There was live Irish music when I went which was awesome. Had the shepherds pie, so amazing, highly recommend. Had the house beer, I liked it. Was just what I was hoping to find in a pub.

Pretty decent pub in the heart of Boston. We stopped in here for a pint before dinner, and were able to sit at a table because the bar was full. It took the server forever to come back and forth though, but overall we had a good time here. Loved how they played a bunch of Dropkick music during the time we were hanging out.
